La Toya Darden was named CEO in 2015 for Central Care Community Health Center. During her tenure as the COO her direct involvement in procuring the “upgraded” to the health centers to better emulate the future of healthcare cane into fruition n through the naming  of Central Care sites as an “integrated health care system” hence Central Care Integrated Health Services(CCIHS)
La Toya Darden received her B.A in Psychology from Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas in 1996.
   She has worked in community as a former public-school teacher and currently working with the community in the health care serving and directing underserved and uninsured programs for over 15 years. 
In 2002, La Toya Darden started as a Director for Houston Medi-Dent Mobile Health, Inc.   As Program Director, she demonstrated abilities in internal and external marketing, financial, management and dental software technology. Wrote successful grants for children’s dental program Analyzed and wrote appropriate responses to requests for proposal (RFP), requests for quote (RFQ) and requests for information (RFI) Set up and established new territory by devising a technique for introducing the concept of oral preventative services for underserved school-age children Designed an introductory “Partnering with the Community”, “Miles of Healthy Smiles” program that is now standard for the agency. Served as programs administer and grant writer for program.  
La Toya Darden developed complete managerial outline for continued growth and success of Houston Medi-Dent as well as established a professional relationship and maintained communication with individual school personnel in targeted school districts for preventative children dental services all while promoting and facilitating dental prevention education programs in identified schools utilizing various marketing and promotional strategies. She maintained and sustained strong relationships between donors and the non-profit agencies; in return provided dental services to thousands of undeserved school children.  
Under her direction as Chief Operations Officer for Central Care Community Health Center from (20092015), La Toya Darden implemented HIV primary care and screening programs for underserved patients residing in South Central Houston and through out Houston, Texas. This was the first successful rapid HIV screening program in the country to have a 99% acceptance rate in a community health care center.
In 2011, this work lead to CCIHS becoming the first FQHC in Houston, Texas commissioned by the CDC to perform a PREP study. This work was published in the Emory Medical Journal and LaToya Darden is a national presenter and speaker for this health initiative and advocate for HIV screening for all routine primary, preventative and dental health visits.   She also secured and wrote for funding to renovate the first FQHC in Houston, Texas along with writing successfully to United Way through their CDBG grant to have the first children’s wait area funded within a FQHC   
Also, in 2011 La Toya Darden was a recipient of the Johnson and Johnson Execute Healthcare Fellowship Program.  The UCLA/Johnson & Johnson Health Care Executive Program is a management development program exclusively for executive directors and leaders of health centers and of other community-based health care organizations.  The program provides extensive management and leadership development at the UCLA Anderson School of Management in Los Angeles, California. Participants engage in a rigorous but relevant curriculum that provides the requisite skills, knowledge and abilities to successfully manage and lead their organizations in a changed world for healthcare delivery. The program has graduated nearly 1600 participants since its inception in 2005.
She has successfully orchestrated funding through Houston Endowment for renovations for Central Care CHC main site and secured contracts from HISD and co-authored the Convenience Clinic Benefits Plan, aka “$25K Convenience Health Plan” to provide Primary Preventative health care to HISD employees.  
To date, La Toya Darden has written for programs and funding totaling over $5 million dollars since working at Central Care IHS, She has structured and implemented policies and procedures which before were nonexistence in the organization. This "building a better health center" process is a major cost saving to the organization and the value is immensurable.

Tasneem Lokhandwala, CPA (Chief Financial Officer)

Tasneem Lokhandwala holds a CPA (Texas) license. As a member of the executive leadership team, she is responsible for the development and implementation of the financial strategies, operating and capital budgets, and system of financial management that support the overall vision, mission, goals and objectives of Central Care. Ms. Lokhandwala is actively involved in planning and executing strategic partnerships and she oversees financial planning and funding strategies in support of Central Care's capital projects.  
Ms. Lokhandwala's expertise are in strategic planning and execution, revenue cycle and budget operation, business planning, capital planning, federal finance regulation and requirements, financial analysis and state and federal audits.   Ms. Lokhandwala is passionate about the role that Central Care plays to support patients and their families.
When not at work, Ms. Lokhandwala enjoys spending time reading and traveling.
